Yellowjacket Kit- Version 5 (mid-80s and beyond)
All good things must come to an end...

The Yellowjacket V5 represents the final resting place of this iconic guitar. North Ash body, routed for an FRT-5 or modern equivalent, modified pickup cavity, and now a one-piece, plain maple, Pacer-style neck, featuring a 1 5/8" nut width, drilled for an R2 locking nut on a shortened shelf. The only thing missing is the unmistakable touch of black electrical tape stripes across the headstock. 

This V5 kit is how the story of this guitar ends and represents how the guitar was believed to be when it was ultimately buried with Pantera's Dimebag Darrell. 

Supplied unfinished and unassembled. Paint ready comes grain filled and sanding sealed, ready for yellow!
